most importantly I am going to Chile

next semester, for many many months. I am filled with thrill and adrenaline and Spanish. I will live with a host family in Viña del Mar from late February through mid-July and take courses at la Pontificia Unversidad Católica de Valparaíso. (I may shit myself just looking at pictures of where I will soon live.) In anticipation, I MUST:

Start talking to more chilenos to learn about their weird vernacular.

Buy a one way plane ticket to South America (my dream).

Look for cool people on couchsurfing to stay with during my pre-program travels. YES.

Figure out what my pre-program travels will be. Argentina? Backpacking, no doubt? Rainforests, mountains, cities, beaches? What do I want?

Fund my future broke-ass self by working extra hard now.

AND ALSO!!!

focus on the present which is so special, and is the only time I’ll be in Oberlin until next fall. Love my friends. Do my schoolwork. Have adventures. This is a special place too :)
